About Iron Velvet- Founder: Jae Arredondo. 

I’m a Texas gal just spreading the love one shade at a time!  When I first decided to open an online store and given the opportunity to choose my own niche; there was no question it came from a simple memory that stayed with me long after I grew up.

Growing up, when I was about to go anywhere without makeup; my mom would always tell me, “At least put some lipstick on so you don’t look pale.” I would smile, put on a little lip color, throw on a pair of sunglasses, and head out the door.

What I didn’t realize then was that it was never really about makeup.

It was about CONFIDENCE ! Coming from one strong woman to another. 

Those small moments became a ritual — a swipe of color, a favorite pair of shades, and suddenly I felt more put together, more comfortable, and more like myself. 

That feeling inspired Iron Velvet.

We believe beauty isn’t about covering who you are; it’s about highlighting the confidence that already exists within you. Our lip colors are curated to help you feel stylish, empowered, and effortlessly yourself — whether you’re just waking up and or running errands, working out , heading to work, going out with friends, or simply showing up for yourself. We believe confidence doesn’t always come from big transformations. Sometimes it starts with the little things that help you feel powerful and beautiful in your own skin.
